Bromeliad & Tropicals Spring Show & Sales 2024
Location: Genesis Christian College, Youngs Crossing Road, Bray Park QLD 4500
Times: Saturday 21st September 8am – 4pm and Sunday 22nd September 8am – 1pm.
Cost: $4 which includes entry into the Lucky Door Prize.
Free entry for Bromeliad Society of Queensland members & groups of 10 or more members from a Garden Club.
Free parking.
Featuring: Spend the weekend exploring bromeliads and tropical plants where garden inspiration is everywhere at the Bromeliad & Tropicals Spring Show & Sales.
Bromeliads have attractive leaves and clump which means they make great ground cover, equally they can be grown individually in pots. They are epiphytic so are often found in trees and on stumps. Depending on the variety, bromeliads can take full sun, part sun or total shade and are high survivors. Their flowers are stunning and long lasting.
Presented by the Bromeliad Society of Queensland, our experienced growers will be sharing their luscious gardens with you. Purchase all types of plants from bromeliads & tillandsias to tropicals & indoor plants, starting at only $5.
The Society is proud to donate all proceeds from the Monster Raffle, recipient to be confirmed.
Bromeliad Information sessions will be held on Saturday at 11am and 1pm, plus Sunday at 11am – no charge – to provide you with information on growing and propagating bromeliads.
Specialists and volunteers will be at the event to offer advice, with books available for purchase. Admire the plant displays and competition plants where you’ll see these plants at their colourful best. The show is family friendly with plant-minding and refreshments available.
Whether you are a green thumb or novice gardener, there is something for everyone at the Bromeliad & Tropicals Spring Show & Sales.
